Celtic have come in for more criticism from supporters on social media after posting a bizarrely ironic “plan ahead” message on Twitter.
The club took to the social media platform to inform fans of this year’s Christmas Party at Celtic Park.
They were referring to the 10% discount that supporters can earn if they “plan ahead” and secure their booking by August 31st. But with the transfer window also closing around the time, supporters are far more concerned with the signings the club will be making on the park.
And the poorly worded caption caused disbelief, frustration and a bit of laughter from some Hoops fans. They were keen to point out the irony in the club warning fans to “plan ahead” when the football department have failed to do just that.

What exactly is the Celtic plan?
It’s looking like being another awful day for the club’s media team who aren’t exactly shining in the wake of our first team’s current state.
They haven’t helped themselves with a number of bizarre tweets in recent days and this is perhaps the worst. The club just don’t seem to understand how fans are feeling at present.

The Hoops support aren’t really caring too much about Christmas parties at present. If the team continue to perform as they are currently there may not be an enjoyable Christmas for most fans.
Perhaps the biggest criticism of the club in recent months has been their failure to plan properly for what’s to come. We went into our most recent Champions League qualifier with a skeleton of a defence and things haven’t improved since then.
The club should realise that fans are incredibly frustrated before they ask for more money.
