Celtic have asked fans to make sure their contact details are up to date, as they prepare to welcome them back to Parkhead in the “near future”.
The club posted the update to supporters on the website on Thursday morning, detailing the need for contact details to be current.
It read: “The Scottish Government have indicated that fans will be allowed back into sports stadia in the near future.
“As we plan for the potential return of supporters to Paradise, we need you to ensure we have the most up-to-date contact details for you.

“Under the current circumstances things change frequently, usually at very short notice, so we need to be able to reach you quickly to update you on any changes that may affect you coming to the stadium.
“We will communicate all stadium access information via the club website, email and text message only, so please visit eticketing.co.uk/celtic and make sure everything is update to date.
“We are constantly liaising with the relevant authorities and working on plans to bring fans back and we will endeavour to keep you informed throughout this process.”

Celtic Park return put on hold
Earlier, my colleague David brought you the news that fans wouldn’t be allowed at games in Glasgow while the city still had restrictions in place.
The Daily Mail reported that Rangers’ plans to house supporters for their home game against Dundee United on September 12th had hit the buffers following 86 new coronavirus cases in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area on Wednesday.
It seems like we won’t have any fans back at games in Glasgow until the current restrictions are lifted, although Celtic still seem keen to press ahead with the future in mind.

It’s good to see that they’re going to be actively contacting fans with details on games this season, rather than simply putting it on their social media channels.
Supporters have already been inconvenienced by this unprecedented situation, and any further discomfort wouldn’t go down well.
When will Celtic Park house fans again? And how long will it be until we see the stadium full? These are all questions that nobody has any answers to yet.
