Last season, the Bhoys toured Japan as they met both Yokohama F. Marinos and Gamba Osaka within the space of four days.
Celtic also faced Portimonense on two occasions and Wolves before rounding off their preparations for the season with James Forrest’s testimonial encounter versus Athletic Bilbao at Celtic Park.

Celtic are in the United States of America for their summer 2024 pre-season tour.
The first-team have already played two friendly clashes in Scotland and have now embarked on a journey to Washington DC, Indiana and North Carolina to play in front of the club’s strong American fanbase.
When will Celtic’s pre-season 2024 start?
Celtic’s first friendly encounter of the summer took place on Friday, July 5 against Ayr United, who are managed by Hoops legend Scott Brown. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Five friendlies involving Celtic were confirmed, with another against Burnley behind closed doors to follow. The first two took place in Scotland and the final three will take place in America. All times below are BST.
