Celtic are back in action this weekend when we travel to face Ross County.

It may only be under a fortnight since Neil Lennon’s men dispatched Motherwell 3-0, but international breaks have a habit of making time go very slowly.

This weekend’s clash in Dingwall will be strange for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, some fans will be at a competitive Celtic match for the first time since March when we thrashed St. Mirren 5-0. There were well over 50,000 at Parkhead that day, but only 300 odd will be at Saturday’s game, and they’ll all be supporting the home side.

Secondly, the game is a 3pm kick-off – something that is pretty unheard of for Celtic away matches. That means that it’s not on Sky Sports, so Hoops fans will have to fire into County’s pay-per-view coverage if they want to see the live action.

And it they do that, here’s the team we expect them to see.

The team everyone wants to see

Vasilis Barkas will start the game in nets, looking to build on his run of two domestic clean sheets.

We’re predicting Lennon to make the big call and throw in Shane Duffy for his debut. And, as part of a back three alongside Christopher Jullien and Kristoffer Ajer.

At wing-back, we think James Forrest and Greg Taylor will start, with Scott Brown and Callum McGregor anchoring the midfield.

Ryan Christie should play as an attacking midfielder behind the duo of Odsonne Edouard and Albian Ajeti.

There would be so much to get excited about that team, and the change to 3-5-2 would breathe some fresh life into the players and the supporters.

Let’s hope it’s a decision the gaffer decides to make.

Our predicted XI: Vasilis Barkas, Christopher Jullien, Shane Duffy, Kristoffer Ajer, James Forrest, Greg Taylor, Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie, Odsonne Edouard, Albian Ajeti
