Celtic have put the spotlight on Oliver Abildgaard in some fresh training footage released today, as his Celtic debut looms.
The big Dane is yet to take to the pitch in a Celtic shirt, and was an unused substitute in our recent games against Shakhtar Donetsk and St. Mirren.

Ange Postecoglou has already strongly hinted that Abildgaard will have a big part to play after the break, and this footage of him looking fit and sharp suggests good things are coming.
On the Instagram story, Abildgaard is seen both with and without the ball, with occasional strikes of ‘Well done Oli’ heard.
It seems like the former Rubin Kazan man is going to be a big player for Celtic in the coming period, with an intense run of 13 matches coming in the space of six weeks.
Also seen in the footage from today is Josip Juranovic, back from his stint with Croatia.

Juranovic is seen with a huge smile on his face in one clip and getting stuck into a possession drill in another.
The training looks as competitive as ever, and it will be interesting to see if Ange decided to freshen things up for Motherwell on Saturday.
He won’t want to make too many changes given how our last match went, but players like Abildgaard will surely be in with a good chance of game time this weekend, even if not from the start.
