Read MoreCeltic react to Twitter's 10-year challenge in epic form
Celtic have strongly been growing in boldness and confidence on their social media platforms in recent years.
The club have really been pushing their Twitter and Snapchat content. Added to that, they frequently post to other clubs and have neat little jokes and laughs that resonate well with supporters.
They were at it again today with a brilliant post in response to a new Twitter trend.

The #10-year-challenge has been doing the rounds on social media recently. This involves an image of two pictures side-by-side, taken 10 years apart.
One notable response to the challenge came from Borussia Dortmund. They made fun of rivals RB Leipzig (Celtic’s Europa League victims). On one side of the image there was a blank screen. On the other side, however, there was RB Leipzig’s logo. This simply made fun of the fact that Leipzig were only formed back in 2009 – therefore aren’t 10 years old.
Of course, you can imagine the response Celtic fans wanted. A similar one with Rangers unfortunately wasn’t the club’s go-to on this occasion.
But instead, they decided to use it to honour the supporters.

Classy touch with a funnier reaction
It was a cute touch from Celtic. They consistently like to praise their fans publicly, and this was a good way of doing it.
Yes, a huge opportunity was missed by not gloating over the death of Rangers. That would certainly have given the club a good Twitter boost, but they can be forgiven for it.
Celtic supporters are also never the kind to let an opportunity like this pass them by. Their reaction to the post was similarly top-notch, with some notable replies.

Many fans aren’t likely to disagree with the Hoops’ post or indeed any of those replies.
Celtic continue to be heavily-active on social media, and certainly are growing their brand…but if only they had just posted that Rangers one.
