Celtic have accepted that many supporters will be left feeling disappointed as ticket details for next month’s Betfred Cup final were released.
Neil Lennon’s side go for ten domestic trophies in-a-row at Hampden on December 8th when Rangers will be their opponents. The big support carried by both sides means that Celtic will receive a far smaller allocation than the one from the recent semi-final against Hibernian.
Hampden will be split half and half for the Glasgow derby clash, and the club admit that many supporters will miss out as a result.

They released details on Wednesday morning along with an unusual message explaining their position.
It said: “We fully understand that the allocation of tickets we have been given will not be able to satisfy the demand from supporters wishing to attend the match.
“We also fully accept that many supporters will be disappointed. However, we would ask fans to understand and appreciate that this is a difficult process for the club to administer, given the ticket allocation provided.”
To be in with a chance of securing a brief for the big match, supporters will have had to be on the ‘Home Cup Ticket Scheme’ and had money taken for both the earlier round games against Dunfermline and Partick Thistle. Fans will also have had to purchase a ticket for the aforementioned clash against Hibs under their own client ref.
Most tickets will cost £40 while there are cheaper concessions available for under 16s and over 65s.
