There have been a fair few blunders from managers this season, and Celtic fans have, unfortunately, watched their fair share.
Perhaps nothing will top what happened in Bournemouth on Wednesday night when Tottenham Hotspur’s under-fire manager Thomas Frank was caught holding an Arsenal-themed drinking cup.
Imagine something like that happening in Glasgow, related to Celtic or Rangers, it just wouldn’t go down well, especially if that individual isn’t liked, and you then go on to lose the game 3-2 in the last minute.
Of course, Frank didn’t mean to do it, but given that Arsenal only visited Bournemouth’s stadium over the weekend and used the away dressing room, it seems as though somebody set up the Spurs boss by placing a drinking cup that he picked and used, with Arsenal’s emblem on the side of it.
Watching on from afar, the Celtic Park faithful can only chuckle so much because Wilfried Nancy’s ill-fated reign threw up some embarrassing moments.

Wilfried Nancy’s Celtic blunder after Thomas Frank caught holding an Arsenal cup
When Gabby Agbonlahor discussed Frank’s embarrassing moment on talkSPORT, Alan Brazil brought Celtic’s fired boss Nancy into the equation.
At first, Agbonlahor shared that this moment from Frank ‘tops it off’ because Spurs supporters already want him out, as they sit in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
But Brazil recounted Nancy’s first game in charge of Celtic against Hearts, when he got the tactics board out, and the memes started rolling in.
At the time, Celtic supporters tried to defend their manager because he had just walked through the door.
But as Brazil touched upon, what made matters worse was the fact that there were ‘blue and white’ magnets on the board.
Agbonlahor: “Arsenal are doing that well in all competitions. That you have the Spurs manager drinking out of an Arsenal cup.
“Doesn’t that just show everything, just how much of a shambles it is, at the moment. That you can’t even notice that it’s an Arsenal cup. It’s minimal. But everything together, and that tops it off for the Spurs fans.”
Brazil: “It’s a bit like the Celtic manager that they just got rid of, Wilfried. When they had the Hearts game, he was changing his tactics. Gets the board out. White and blue. I am like, what are you doing?”
Agbonlahor: “Amorim did it, didn’t he? Against Grimbsy.”
