Celtic must renew interest in Polish winger Kamil Grosicki in order to sort out their left side problem.

The current Hull City star was linked with a move to The Bhoys last year according to Polish football site Goal.pl but nothing came to fruition.

Brendan Rodgers hasn’t had a permanent left sided player since Patrick Roberts’ first departure.

Grosicki would be a perfect fit to requirements at Parkhead.

How Kamil Grosicki achieved his dream

At 30-years-old, Grosicki hasn’t had the best career at Hull City since joining from Rennes.

A failed transfer to Burnley resulted in an extended stay at the French club before finally realising his Premier League dream with The Tigers in January 2017.

Unfortunately, his fantasy didn’t last long as his new side were relegated to the Championship without Grosicki scoring a goal.

Hull are finally reaping rewards with Grosicki with manager Nigel Adkins proclaiming he is a new player.

Celtic can offer Pole more than Hull

The quoted fee for Grosicki in 2017 was around £9/10 million which is a turnoff for the Scottish champions.

However, Grosicki is a year older and at 30 years old and playing in the Championship, Hull won’t ask for that high a fee this time.

Celtic fans can take confidence from Scott Sinclair as The Bhoys purchased him in similar circumstances.

Unfortunately, Sinclair hasn’t captured his form of his first season, leaving a problem on the left.

Sinclair is also Celtic’s only left-winger with Ryan Christie and Callum McGregor being natural attacking midfielders.

Grosicki has realised his English Premier League dream, but Celtic can give him Europe.

Every player wants to play at the highest level and with Grosicki, Celtic could realise their Champions League dream.

Grosicki is a passionate Polish player who would take to the Celtic fans immediately.

All he needs to do is look at the adulation former international teammate Artur Boruc gets.

Celtic fans love their passionate Poles and should the club bid again, they will see the rewards.
