John Clark’s incredible service to Celtic over the years
Clark started the 1967 European Cup final victory against Inter Milan as the Hoops secured a 2-1 victory in the heat of Lisbon.
With that, he became a Lisbon Lion and thus forever immortalised as one of the greatest Celtic players to represent the club.
Clark became part of the Celtic coaching staff in the 1970s as he took charge of the reserve and youth teams, before becoming Billy McNeill’s assistant manager.
And then he was the kit man for more than 20 years through the management years of Martin O’Neill, Gordon Strachan and Neil Lennon.
Rest in peace, John Clark.
