Some good news to start with on the transfer front. Yesterday’s round-up featured Tom Rogic, who had been linked with a move to Leicester City and Southampton. However, Rogic’s agent has denied that he is leaving the club, and he is fully committed to winning the treble for the third season in a row. That is good news for the Hoops fans. Celtic would be loath to lose a player who on his day is one of the most skilful players around.

The plot thickens with regard to Gary Hooper. A few days ago it was reported that Neil Lennon wanted to bring the former Hoops striker back to the club should he become the Hoops’ permanent manager. Now the Scottish Sun is reporting that the English duo of Aston Villa and Fulham are interested in the striker. As Hooper is a free agent, it could come down to who offers Hooper the most money. There is also the fact that Aston Villa could be playing in the Premier League next season. The Hooper situation could be sorted sooner rather than most people think. If Celtic want to sign Hooper, they have to make their move quickly.
