In the quarter-final, the Bhoys swept Livingston aside 4-2, courtesy of a hat-trick from Daizen Maeda and a cool finish from Kyogo Furuhashi in the dying embers of proceedings.
Brendan Rodgers has now managed to topple Buckie Thistle, St Mirren and the Lions in this season’s edition of association football’s oldest competition, taking his incredible winning streak to 15 matches across both spells at the club.

Heart of Midlothian take on Rangers in the corresponding tie at Hampden, creating the possibility for sparks to fly in the final should Celtic get there, which will be held on the 25th of May.
