Celtic send out message to fans ahead of Valencia clash

Celtic have sent out an exciting message to supporters on Twitter tonight.

The Hoops have informed fans that they’ll be trying something to “raise the tempo”. The club has confirmed it’s yet another new lights show. This follows on from the new show that occurred against Hibernian last Wednesday.

The club put on AC/DC track Thunderstruck against Hibernian last week. It looks as though that won’t be the same this evening.

Supporters failed to agree overwhelmingly on what they thought of the show against Hibs. Some seemed to love the new tempo, whilst others believed it ran on too long.

Celtic have informed fans to be in their seats for 7:45pm tonight if they want to experience the new light-show too. There’s no hint as to what the show will be like either. The only clue Celtic are giving is that it will “raise the tempo”.

Light-shows are a hit and miss for some

It feels as though Celtic are really still trying to figure out how best to use their lights. Many supporters were under the assumption they were bought for Champions League nights. Tonight, therefore, will be as close to that as we can get for the time being.

But the shows aren’t convincing everyone. It’s not just the older era either, as there seems to be a split opinion regardless of age.

They certainly add something different and unique to the pre-match spectacle at Parkhead. Another thing they certainly do is entertain too. Whether you enjoy it or not, many will surely be excited to see what Celtic have up their sleeves tonight.

According to the match-day itinerary guide, You’ll Never Walk Alone will begin five minutes before kick-off. That means the light show will apparently be 10-minutes long if you do the math.

No doubt, regardless of what Celtic come up with tonight, many will still have disagreements over it. The split opinion on these lights just won’t change anytime soon.
