The Celtic players deserve all the plaudits coming their way over the next few days and have already kickstarted their title-winning party.

The team were in outrageous form on Wednesday night, producing arguably their best performance of the season to thrash Kilmarnock 5-0 at Rugby Park and seal their status as champions.

Matt O’Riley netted a second-half double, adding to first-half goals from Adam Idah, Daizen Maeda and James Forrest to entertain the travelling away support.

There were incredible scenes at the stadium after the full-time whistle as the players danced and cheered in front of a pyro party.

Later, the players returned to the dressing room to break out the champagne and do lots more singing and dancing.

Celtic provide fans with tonnes of title-winning content

The Celtic media team were on top form too, getting lots of footage and reaction out quickly and smartly for the club’s online audience. That includes the scenes inside that dressing room.

The drenched players, led by Joe Hart and captain Callum McGregor chanted ‘Glasgow Celtic Champions!’ again and again as the cameras flashed to capture their big moment.

All their hard work has paid off and it’s great to see them come through with big smiles on their faces after all the pressure on their shoulders this term.

Later, Hyunjun Yang took a 360-degree camera to film more brilliant celebrations, with Celtic jovially stating on social media that their gear was now broken as a result!

There were more epic scenes at Celtic Park later in the night and that will just be the start of what we can look forward to this week.

This Saturday’s match at home to St Mirren is already sold out and 60,000 souls will pack into Paradise for a glorious trophy presentation.

With the tantalising prospect of another trophy at Rangers’ expense in the Scottish Cup Final, too, this month could just keep getting better and better.
