Celtic should be looking at the opportunity to recall striker Jack Aitchison.
The Scottish youth international is currently flying with English league side Forest Green. He is quickly becoming a fan favourite and showing everyone what he is made of.
With Vakoun Issouf Bayo out for six weeks with surgery, the Hoops are only left with one striker.
Celtic must explore Jack Aitchison recall opportunity
Since his first touch goal under Ronny Deila, Aitchison is a player that’s gone under the radar.

He is a player with bags of ability and potential hence his remaining in the squad. But game time isn’t a guarantee at Celtic so a loan move was best for both parties.
At Forest Green, Aitchison is flying scoring three goals in nine appearances with two assists. He is winning man of the match awards and the Forest Green fans are really taking to the Bhoy.
With the Hoops in a striker injury crisis with only Odsonne Edouard available, Aitchison is in a perfect place to be recalled.

Celtic have a lot of games and Edouard simply cannot play in them all.
What is the future for the youngster?
Fans need to remember that Aitchison is still a promising young player at 19.
Everyone is hoping his Forest Green loan will be a success even if he isn’t recalled by Neil Lennon. He is a player that needs game time and the English side offers that.

However, fans will still cry out for that main top striker in the mould of Edouard and Moussa Dembele.
It’s unfortunate for Aitchison but he must keep in mind that with hard work and patience he can be that player too. But for now, he is on the right track and tearing it up down south.
