Celtic should be looking at Las Palmas striker Jonathan Viera to end their worries up top.
The Hoops are in the market for a forward to challenge Odsonne Edouard.
Viera is the ideal man for a variety of reasons including his age and pedigree. Will he come cheap as his parent club is Chinese outfit Beijing Sinobo Guoan?
It’s definitely an avenue that Neil Lennon needs to explore next month.
Jonathan Viera is answer to Celtic back-up question
The Celts are looking at to bolster the forward area in the next window according to Lennon.

Nobody fits the bill more for the role other than the Las Palmas local hero, Viera.
He is an academy graduate for the club who joined Valencia and Standard Liege but returned home to win promotion to La Liga. Viera briefly joined his current Chinese side before going back to the Canary Islands side on loan.
This season Viera has played 12 games for Las Palmas, scoring 10 with two assists. Last season, in 17 games in China, Viera rocked up eight goals and six assists.
The 30-year-old is an attacking midfielder by trade but his scoring record speaks for itself.

He is the perfect number 10 and back-up to Edouard that plays a similar role for Celtic.
The Hoops is a perfect chance for Viera at his age to come in and do a job while competing at a high level.
Spaniard move will spell end for Griffiths or Bayo
Although there is no link at all, a potential move for a forward isn’t good news for Vakoun Bayo or Leigh Griffiths. There isn’t enough room for three strikers at the club, let alone four.
Bayo was only brought in during the summer but has hardly made an impact.

Griffiths’ own troubles are well documented but a goal has evaded him since his return.
At least one of them are going to have to move on to make way for a new Bhoy.
Viera is the ideal man for Lennon and is his type of player to a tee in a Kris Commons like role. However, if it isn’t Viera then it will be someone else pushing out the current back-up men.
