Ange Postecoglou has chosen his two Celtic XIs to face Bristol City this evening, per Celtic FC’s website.
And it’s a very strong starting XI. Once again, Urhoghide and Dembele start for the Bhoys, with in-form striker Albian Ajeti up front.
Starting XI: Barkas; Ralston, Welsh, Urhoghide, Taylor; Soro, McGregor, Dembele, Turnbull, Johnston, Ajeti
Subs: Bain, Ntcham, Shaw, Robertson, Murray, Henderson, Montgomery, Hjelde, Moffat
It’s Celtic’s third pre-season friendly under Ange Postecoglou. With FC Midtjylland coming up next Tuesday, it seems the Celtic boss is nearer to finding his preferred XI.
Bristol City represent a step-up in terms of competition. The Robins competed in the Championship last season, finishing 19th. Manager Nigel Pearson has brought in former Rangers midfielder Andy King and ex-Leicester City midfielder Matty James so far this summer.
Celtic beat Charlton 2-1 and Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 in their friendlies thus far.

Fan reaction to Celtic team v Bristol City
It’s beginning to look as if a preferred XI is taking shape under Ange Postecoglou. Certainly, familiar names and patterns are starting to emerge under the Greek-Aussie boss.
However, the absences of Odsonne Edouard and Luca Connell sparked some debate within the support. Connell, in particular, had been expected to feature more often in pre-season for the Bhoys.
