Celtic are adding to a growing injury list as Emilio Izaguirre is the latest player to go off.
Jonny Hayes replaced the Honduran who has been filling in for another crock in Kieran Tierney.
Brendan Rodgers didn’t want to stockpile players but doing so is helping his squad get through this crisis.
Hayes help shows no loan move is good decision
One players fans spoke about moving on in January was the Irishman who replaced Izaguirre.

However, he clearly has his place in the squad having moonlighted at left-back on occasion – most notably at Pittodrie at the end of last year.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
The veteran Honduran international went off on a stretcher in clear agony, bringing him to tears.
On-loan Leicester defender Darnell Johnson appeared to stamp on Izaguirre’s ankle which subsequently was put on a protector.
Rodgers thinks he will recover in a few days.

Celtic are also keeping new signing Andrew Gutman in his native America on-loan.
One would suggest Hayes taking the left-back role for the weekend cup tie against St Johnstone.
Other players stepping in too for Celtic
Dedryck Boyata returned for the Hoops, partnering stand-in replacement Jozo Simunovic.
However, after 70 minutes, the lack of game time was taking its toll on the Belgian who was replaced by recognised midfielder Nir Bitton not long after.
Boyata will be edging his way back into games bit by bit and we should see him play longer at the weekend.

Simunovic continues to have a good performance, showing his performances aren’t dipping.
He could be the solution all along to the future problem of Boyata and Filip Benkovic leaving in the summer.
What is for sure is Celtic’s big squad is finally working for Rodgers.
He can call upon a lot of players during this surprise crisis. Let’s hope the injury list isn’t added to on Sunday.
