Celtic are sewing up deals for two right-backs in Manny Perez (official website) and Jeremy Toljan (via SkySports).
The Hoops faithful were calling out for a names for that position and they’ve got more than they bargained for.
However, the two new Bhoys will experience a different beginning to their Celtic careers.
Perez and Toljan unlikely to be team mates at Celtic
Sky Sports News reports German right-back Toljan will join up for the Hoops on-loan for six months.

While American Perez will go back to his country for several months to continue his development, Celtic have confirmed.

Both men’s paths are unlikely to cross but will be looking at Celtic to boost their careers.
Toljan isn’t playing for parent club Borussia Dortmund and will get the chance to play at a high level in the Europa League against Valencia.
Meanwhile, Perez is highly thought of in his country – winning USA Soccer Development Academy Player of the Year.

The American appears to have impressed Brendan Rodgers alongside fellow countryman Andrew Gutman whilst on trial with The Bhoys.
Getting players in is always new and exciting but the futures of current right-backs are up in the air.
Lustig’s back-up or is the pecking order changing?
Current right-back Mikael Lustig is currently Celtic’s form defender at the moment.
With seven assists this season, four of which in his last two games, he may feel let down by the club.
Perhaps news of incomings is giving Lustig a boot to show his place isn’t secure.
Anthony Ralston is filling in sometimes but an injury is keeping him from the first team.

Furthermore, Cristian Gamboa is not even getting a look in recently but doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
With potentially five right-backs at the club, the position is now stockpiling out of control.
This is going against what Rodgers wants at current but three of the players will not be at Celtic if contracts are run down.
Whoever the manager wants to keep in July better hope they are the correct choice and they need to show it.
