Timothy Weah has stated that he’s delighted with how his move to Celtic has went so far.
Despite making just three starts for the club since January, the American has always looked a picture of happiness in Glasgow.

Overall, Weah has made 13 appearances for the Hoops. He managed his fourth goal for the club in yesterday’s 2-0 success at St Mirren. He looked extremely impressive coming off the left flank, and played as though he had a point to prove.
And, speaking today at Parkhead, Weah expressed his love for his loan spell and his enjoyment at Parkhead.
If Celtic use him, could an extension be on the table?
It’s fair to say that Weah hasn’t been used as much as he probably should’ve since January. He’s shown plenty of pace and promise during his time in Glasgow, but has been often overlooked for the likes of Oliver Burke and Odsonne Edouard.
It remains to be seen how much of an impact his goal last night has on his game-time between now and the end of the season. Celtic face Livingston this Saturday, and Weah certainly deserves to be involved.

Added to that, if we’re to have any hope of luring him back next season, you have to imagine more game-time for him is essential. Weah has already shown that he could have a big impact here over the course of a full campaign. Given the riches of PSG, Celtic could do worse than ask the question of an extension this summer.
One of the biggest obstacles to that, you have to imagine, would’ve been Weah’s happiness. Yet his words today combined with his activity on social media, it’s clear that he’s having a thrilling time in Glasgow’s East End.
For now, it’s vital that the young striker just focuses on the next game. It’s going to take a lot for him to dislodge the likes of Scott Sinclair between now and the end of the season. But he’s already proved that, when on his game, he offers much more than the Englishman.
And today’s comments simply reaffirm to supporters just how delighted he is in Scotland.
