Celtic will be putting the final touches to their preparation before they face Ross County on Saturday afternoon at Parkhead.
In their return to Scottish Premiership action after the winter break, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed the Hoops will be able to call on the services of Cameron Carter-Vickers and new arrival Nicolas Kuhn.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Irishman stated [Celtic FC Official YouTube channel]: “Yeah, they will be involved against Ross County. They have both had a good week of training. It is great to see Cameron back again, so he will be involved.”
At present, it is unclear what margin of lead the Bhoys will retain once they commence against the Staggies this weekend. Rangers take on St Mirren in Saturday’s early kick-off and could narrow the gap at the summit to two points with a victory.
The visitors come into proceedings at Parkhead without a win in their last five matches; however, Rodgers will be aware there are no easy games in the Scottish top-flight.
Celtic left-back Greg Taylor ruled out for a ‘few weeks’ with injury
Despite excitement building ahead of Celtic’s home clash against Ross County, Rodgers has indicated that Greg Taylor will miss the fixture after becoming the latest Hoops player to succumb to an injury.
The 51-year-old confirmed that the Scotland international could be set to miss a ‘few weeks’ of action due to a calf problem sustained against Buckie Thistle last weekend.

He stated [Football Scotland]: “Greg will be out for a few weeks. Towards the game at the weekend he felt a slight strain in his calf.
“So sadly, he’s out, which is a shame because he’s been excellent and very consistent over the course of the season so far.”
Celtic should look to bring in a left-back before transfer deadline
Rodgers has already had to deal with his fair share of injury issues since arriving in Glasgow and Taylor’s absence will provoke more conversation over the lack of Celtic activity in the market this month.
Liam Scales, Alexandro Bernabei and Mitchel Frame could all replace the 26-year-old against Ross County; nevertheless, none of these players are ideal solutions to a growing problem at the club.
Taylor may also now miss crucial back-to-back Scottish Premiership fixtures away to Aberdeen and Hibernian, making the pursuit of a left-back a major priority in the latter stages of the window for the Hoops.
Estoril’s Tiago Araujo has been mentioned at length this month as a potential solution; however, it remains to be seen if Celtic will make a late move for the 22-year-old.
