A Celtic supporter managed to capture an emotional embrace between Joe Hart and goalkeeping coach Stevie Woods after the victory over Hearts on Saturday.

The 4-1 win all but ensures that Celtic will be taking the title back to Glasgow’s East End this season. The victory also marked another big win for Hart in a Hoops jersey. The Parkhead number 1 has racked up 25 clean sheets so far in his debut campaign in Glasgow [Transfermarkt]

And after another successful day at the office for the former England shot-stopper, he was snapped in a class moment with long-term Cetltic coach Woods:

It’s a beautiful moment between the goalkeeping coach and his goalkeeper. Woods has undoubtedly played a key role in helping Joe adapt to life at Celtic and helping him keep his standards high.

Back when he first joined the club in the summer, Hart pinpointed Woods as one of the key reasons he decided to come to Parkhead [Celtic TV].

Woods has been an instrumental figure at Celtic Park and has been in his current role since 2007.

Stevie Woods and Joe Hart have proven a successful combination

You can’t underestimate the influence Woods will have had on Hart since arriving. His general performance levels this season speak volumes of him and what he’s managed to do with Joe at Lennoxtown.

Woods has the responsibility of ensuring that Hart is able to do everything Ange Postecoglou wants from his goalkeepers. And even if his distribution levels could still do with some improvement at times, he’s a major upgrade on what we had at the club last year.

Woods was also responsible for the major improvement in Fraser Forster during his Celtic playing days during his first spell. He then helped revive the big Englishman’s career in the 2019/20 campaign before he headed down to Southampton and became first-choice with the EPL club.

We all know how invaluable a figure Woods is when it comes to the Celtic backroom staff. That’s been proven time and time again over the years. Hart is simply the latest to feel the positive effects of working with him.

So it’s great to see how much affection and appreciation he has for Stevie in the photo above. It’s only right he also gets some acknowledgment for his work this year.

Hopefully, it’s marked with Scottish Premiership title glory after Wednesday night.
