The newly relegated side are looking to cash in on the highly sought after defender.
This is causing a bit of a transfer saga in Brazil due to the way player ownership works.
Not only that, Bruno is taking his club to court as he believes he is owed money.
The latest strand in the saga saw Bruno’s agent Fabio Mello allegedly being stopped from leaving club’s headquarters with the important papers but managed to keep some, according to a Cruzeiro statement.

The transfer appears to be getting more complicated by the day.
Image rights, agents and unpaid wages seems to be a stack of cards in this saga.
This also isn’t boding well for his future with Celtic should he want to leave in the future.

It could all end up messy and the Celts won’t want dragged into any unneeded court battles over the transfer.
There are other players out there that can come with less baggage than Bruno.
Plus, coming from a relegated side isn’t the type of player on paper that fans are looking for.
The board and the management team might just cut their losses after the latest story.
