Neil Lennon has announced his Celtic team to take on St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership today, per the official club Twitter account.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI – Bain, Kenny, Ajer, Welsh, Taylor, Brown (C), McGregor, Turnbull, Rogic, Ajeti, Edouard
Subsitutes – Barkas, Duffy, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Christie, Johnston, Elyounoussi, Laxalt
And so, an unchanged side from Celtic’s victory over Motherwell. Welsh starts next to Ajer once more, in a growing defensive partnership.
Rogic makes the team again, ahead of Ryan Christie. Meanwhile, Brown keeps his place ahead of Soro, who was involved in a car accident yesterday morning.
It’s a return for Ajeti, who won’t be disciplined for his “dive” against Kilmarnock. Next to Edouard, they’ll be hoping to rekindle the partnership formed in that 4-0 win over Killie.
£5m-rated man Elyounoussi can’t get back into the team with Neil Lennon’s 4-4-2 diamond in effect.

Fan reaction to Celtic team v St Mirren
There’s been a mixed reaction. To be honest, there’s an apathy around the Celtic support at the moment for issues unrelated to Neil Lennon.
So, as you can imagine, a lot of Lennon out chat followed Celtic’s tweet. So, amongst all that, we found some chat about the team selection.
Some are calling for Barkas’ return, whereas others are happy to see some continuity.
