Celtic are to finally get a new website – with the official unveiling next week, according to the Daily Record.
The paper have some interesting information about the club’s positive move, that has been a long time in the making,
Perhaps, most significantly, the new website will have the address celticfc.com as opposed to the current celticfc.net.

That’s a clever move in itself, as there aren’t too many other websites that use the .net ending.

Among the upgrades on site will be new history, legends and trophy room sections – where fans will be able to look back on some of the glory days when we weren’t being scudded 4-1 at home by Sparta Prague.
Joking aside, it is great to see the club move forward with a new site that looks really refreshing.

Celtic could make the new site a great place for supporters
It would be great to see the club incorporate press conferences, post-match interviews and other YouTube content onto the site.

If they can do that, along with selected Celtic View interviews, news and fixtures/results, it could become a really positive and engaging place for fans to visit.
The current site is a bit of an eyesore, and has been in need of upgrading for a long time.
The club deserve credit for this move.
