Celtic have come out on top once again in the Scottish Football Association’s yearly license report. (Daily Record) The report gives Scottish top-flight clubs a rating based on a number of factors including their stadium and youth setup.
It then decides whether or not clubs are fit to play in UEFA competition.

Where did Celtic come?
Unsurprisingly, we topped the list. The club received a gold award for their ground, first team, youth setup and admin. Overall, Celtic received a platinum award and were therefore granted a UEFA licence for the coming season.

Hibernian, St Johnstone and St Mirren all received a gold award while Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen had to settle for silver.
A good place
The award just underlines the strong place Celtic currently find themselves in. We have a world-class stadium that is pretty full most weeks. We also have a good first-team who have taken the club to unprecedented success over the past few years, and a strong youth setup that has produces numerous top talents.
The club is being run well too and is well respected both in Scotland and abroad. Finances are in a strong place with plenty of money in the bank if we ever need it.

It would be unthinkable for Celtic to throw away ten-in-a-row from this position of strength. The club have enjoyed so much success in recent years because they pushed the boat out and got Brendan Rodgers in as manager. It is important they back Neil Lennon with similar funds this summer.
We have everything going out way at the moment but we want to keep it that way.
