CELTIC TRANSFER ROUND-UP: 11TH JUNE 2019

Ntcham latest

Olivier Ntcham’s potential departure has been the biggest story of Celtic’s transfer window so far. The latest twist came from a Daily Record report that stated that interested party Marseille may make a move for the Frenchman once they sell one of their current stars.

The Ligue 1 outfit could lose midfielder Morgan Sanson this summer with West Ham and Wolves both interested. If Sanson is to move on then it is reported that they could move for Ntcham. It’s one that’s going to rumble on for a few weeks yet.

Nightmare scenario

Ntcham isn’t the only man being linked with a move away from the club this summer. The Daily Record reports that former Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers could return for two of his former star men. Both Kieran Tierney and Callum McGregor could be on the Northern Irishman’s wishlist although large offers would have to be placed for Celtic to consider selling.

The prospect of losing two of our best players is not one that Celtic fans will want to comprehend.

Turnbull saga

The Record also reports that Celtic are still well off any agreement for Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull. The two sides are said to rate the 19-year-old at different values while Bournemouth and Bristol City are also sniffing around.

The Hoops were linked with Reading defender Liam Moore on Monday but that deal seems to be dead in the water due to Celtic not being interested in the player.
