Celtic fans can be hard to please, we must admit.
We all know that, with the club’s high standards and the trophy demands at Celtic Park, winning is absolutely everything along with playing a suitable brand of football.
So when the support grumbles about on-field issues, Brendan Rodgers takes the heat and usually accepts it because of the love from the fanbase and the desire to win.
But who cops the flak when there’s an off-field conversation to be had?
When it’s deadline day and there’s been no striker brought to Celtic, the social media admins usually get it in the neck from punters. Even if recruitment – or sometimes poor results posted on socials – is not their fault.

Celtic’s social media post received criticism for ‘use of AI’
This time, though, it is the club’s social gurus who have taken some criticism for trying something new when introducing Paulo Bernardo’s press conference for the coming Scottish Premiership clash with Hearts on Saturday afternoon.
The headline should be that Bernardo may feel like he’s ready to return to action this week after making a comeback on the Lennoxtown grass following an injury he picked up against Ross County.
Instead fans were questioning why a picture of Bernardo had been turned into an anime character, seemingly with the use of AI.
One moaned: “Celtic fans against AI,” as another commented: “Delete this slop.”
One commented: “Guys, quite this AI drudge,” as a fourth noted: “What age are you ffs”.
A supporter in the comments hadn’t a care in the world about the pic being used: “An absolute bunch of moaning b——- in the replies. Get a life.”
One paid attention to the most important element, asking: “Is (Bernardo) back????”
Paulo Bernardo is ready to return to Celtic action
Bernardo did hint at being back for the Hearts game and with him being put up for the presser, it points to an early return.
The £3.5million midfielder has had a rough time as he’s missed big games for the club. So he’s happy to be back.
But he admits he has been his teammate’s number one fan on the sidelines in the interim.
“Yes, I think every player wants to play all the games and these games are special, and we want to be part of them,” he acknowledged.
“But yes, I try to support my teammates from outside and try to give them the support they need. We as a team still have some goals to achieve, and we will try our best to complete them as soon as possible.
“For me personally, I want to have good games before the end of the season and try to do my best every game. Each opportunity that I have, I will try to give it all on the pitch.”
