Celtic TV footage captures class Jota and Hart moment after opening goal

Brilliant footage from Celtic TV has captured a class moment between matchwinner Jota and goalkeeper Joe Hart at Pittodrie.

The Hoops managed to overcome Aberdeen in a huge 3-2 success last night. The result put the supporters through a rollercoaster of emotions. However, Jota’s second-half effort was enough to put the result beyond Stephen Glass’ side.

Celtic, meanwhile, have since posted a unique angle clip of the celebrations from last night. And it contains a particularly class piece of footage involving Jota and Hart. Take a look for yourself below:

Jota performs a golf shot motion in which Hart was clearly ready for. The Celtic goalkeeper mimics catching Jota’s shot in what was clearly a rehearsed moment from them.

Jota reannounced himself in the Celtic team once again last night as he bagged his first 2 goals since returning from injury. Even at this early stage, he looks like being a real difference-maker in the title run-in.

The result keeps Celtic a point clear of Rangers at the top of the Premiership, with an 11-day gap between last night and our next league match.

Celtic togetherness again on show as Jota and Hart share class moment

The one thing this Celtic squad has really pushed in the media is its togetherness. It likes to portray an image of being a second family for each other.

Moments like this prove that it isn’t just lip service to the supporters either. There’s a clear bond in the Hoops squad built by Ange, and you can see it in every goal celebration we have.

Last night felt big. Make no mistake about it. No, we didn’t extend our lead at the top, but there was something about how the game panned out. It felt like one of our big challenges of the season. And impressively we came through it with flying colours.

Jota in particular will feel as though he needed that yesterday. As much as he’s been a key figure in wins over the likes of Hearts and Rangers in recent weeks, he hasn’t been the MVP so to speak in either of those matches. Last night he was indeed the game-changer, and you could see how much it meant to him in his celebrations.

Of course, there’s a long way to go between now and the summer. We still have 12 more hurdles to overcome and you get the feeling points will continue to be dropped by both Celtic and Rangers between now and the end of the campaign.

But for now, Celtic just keep swatting the challenges aside as they secure another big 3 points in the Granite City.
