Celtic will open the 2020/21 Europa League group stage campaign with a home match against AC Milan on October 22nd, The Daily Record reports.

A match away to Lille follows on October 29th before a doubleheader against Sparta Prague on 5th November, at home, and 26th November, away.

Then we’re on the road again at AC Milan on December 3rd.

Our last fixture of the group is a potentially huge match at home to Lille on December 10th.

December 10 – Celtic vs Lille – 8pm

The schedule of the six-match gauntlet has, in my opinion, worked out well for the Bhoys.

Home advantage on the last matchday could be crucial and opening up the group with a massive fixture against the Italian giants is mouthwatering.

It will be a tough run between late October and early December, but every team in the competition is in the same boat with regards to that.

We now have an exciting week ahead after the international break.

We’ll face Rangers at Celtic Park on Saturday 17th October, AC Milan on the Thursday following and then travel to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen on Sunday 25th.

It doesn’t really get much bigger than that and although fans won’t be in attendance, it’s hard not to get excited about.

Bring it on!
