Celtic were drawn against Hibernian last weekend in the Premier Sports Cup second round in a home clash at Parkhead.
Having won the competition on 21 occasions, the Bhoys will be keen to deliver the trophy after being knocked out at the same stage by Kilmarnock last season.
Earlier today, Celtic confirmed on their official social media channels that the tie has been pencilled in to take place on Sunday, 18th August, with kick-off scheduled for 3 pm.
This means the Hoops’ first five competitive fixtures of the season will now all take place on a Sunday, which has got to be a rarity compared to years gone by.
Now, TV details have been released for Celtic vs Hibernian and all other Premier Sports Cup second round ties set to be played that weekend.
Celtic vs Hibernian TV details
Per Premier Sports’ official account on X, the Bhoys have been chosen for live TV coverage against Hibernian.
The clash will be shown live on Premier Sports 1, and they have released further details on how to catch all the action over the weekend.
They stated: “All eight 2nd Round Premier Sports Cup matches will be broadcast live! Rangers v St Johnstone and Celtic v Hibernian will be televised live on Premier Sports 1.
“All other games will be available online through the Premier Sports streaming service or with the purchase of a 48-hour Matchday Pass.”
Celtic last won the competition in 2023, and Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to add to his excellent record this time around by getting his hands on the trophy for a fourth time.

Ticket details will be communicated in due course. 67 Hail Hail will provide instantaneous confirmation as soon as they are released via official club channels.
For now, the Bhoys will be locked into claiming three points against Kilmarnock on Sunday, but the lure of competing domestic silverware across the board is always an exciting prospect.
