Celtic set up a Premier Sports Cup final showpiece with Rangers next month for the chance to claim their first trophy of the season after last weekend’s demolition job against Aberdeen at Hampden.

The Bhoys thumped Jimmy Thelin’s men 6-0 courtesy of goals from Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyogo Furuhashi and Nicolas Kuhn alongside a hat-trick from Daizen Maeda, ensuring their passage to within 90 minutes of silverware.

In Sunday’s tie, Rangers came from behind to squeeze past Motherwell, meaning a Glasgow Derby spectacle will decide who gets to lift the Premier Sports Cup.

As the competition name suggests, broadcaster Premier Sports hold exclusive rights to show all the action from Hampden next month.

Now, ticket prices and other details ahead of the much-anticipated clash have come to light in plenty of time for supporters.

Celtic vs Rangers ticket details and kick-off time

First and foremost, the latest instalment of the Glasgow Derby will indeed kick off in the unusual 3:30 pm slot on Sunday, 15th December.

Celtic supporters will be housed in the South, East, and North stands for the clash, with tickets priced between £40-£50 for adults and £23-£27 for concessions, depending on where briefs are taken up.

Accessible seating will be located in the North, South and East stands. Prices are in the lower band of £12 to £25.

Rangers fans are in the South, and the West and North sections for the final. Without stating the obvious, there will be plenty of segregation present to separate both fanbases. More information will become available in due course.

Neil Doncaster said on the final: “This season’s final promises to be another hugely exciting occasion. We look forward to welcoming both clubs back to Hampden Park and wish Celtic and Rangers the very best of luck ahead of the final.”

Celtic set for another exciting occasion at Hampden

With the opportunity to win silverware on the line, Celtic supporters will be excited to head to Hampden in their numbers in the hope Brendan Rodgers can deliver another trophy.

Being the only unbeaten side domestically in Scotland, there will be confidence the Bhoys can achieve that feat should their side perform to the best of their ability on the day.

While supporters wait for more details to become available, build-up will begin to intensify for the coming weeks as Celtic aim to make more history at the national stadium.
