Kyogo Furuhashi is literally a modern-day Celtic icon.

The Japanese striker was key to wrestling control from Rangers after the COVID season as Kyogo tore it up for Celtic in the three years he was at the club.

Kyogo won four league titles, two Scottish Cups and two League Cups in a trophy-laden spell at Celtic that included a record-breaking eighth domestic treble.

After a disastrous spell at Rennes, Kyogo is now at Birmingham City, and after his performance last night, the Blues fans are absolutely loving the former Celtic striker.

Another fan said, “Once he gets his groove, he will tear some of these Championship teams in half because he’s one of the sharpest strikers I’ve ever seen at Blues. Clearly got ability.”

Another Blues fan reckons Kyogo is the fastest player he’s seen and said, “Quickest player to pull on a Blues jersey in years.

“A delight to watch at Celtic, now bringing it here too.”
