Daniel Arzani’s recovery ahead of next season seems to be going well.

Celtic’s on-loan Manchester City winger provided a series of encouraging training videos on his Instagram. The content contained the Australian international practicing a variety of different drills.

Arzani has been sidelined since Halloween. The winger was taken out in a trip to Dundee and was ruled out with an ACL injury until next season.

Last week it was confirmed that Arzani was back training, however. Since then, it appears his recovery has picked up a bit too.

You can view all three of Arzani’s Instagram videos by clicking this link. The Aussie is apparently down in Manchester doing some of his recovery work too, as the videos were posted from City’s training base.

This should bode well for Celtic ahead of pre-season. He appears to be back in training a tad earlier than some may have expected, although he is still training on his own for now.

Forrest fires need to continue next season

Frank McAvennie has claimed that James Forrest can do more. Whilst that’s harsh for a player who has scored 22 goals for club and country this season, Forrest can’t afford to let up next season either.

Arzani is looking like he’s going to be back to try and add some real competition. The winger arrived at Parkhead last summer to plenty of hype. After a promising World Cup campaign with Australia last summer, Arzani appeared to be the one to finally push Forrest. Next season, however, it looks like he’ll be ready to do just that.

That’s without even mentioning Maryan Shved of Karpaty Lviv. Celtic signed the Ukrainian back in January, before shipping him back out on loan to Lviv until the end of the season.

Since then, Shved had been tearing is up, becoming the second-joint top goalscorer in the country, and picking up the player of the month award for March.

It’s looking like one heck of a battle for the right-wing slot next season. Forrest’s performances, however, should keep him number one for now.
