The dates for Celtic’s upcoming Champions League round three qualifier against Cluj have been finalised.
The Scottish Sun has revealed that the Hoops will head to Romania for the first leg on Wednesday the 7th of August. That game has a seven o’clock kick-off time.
Three big games in under a week

Meanwhile, the return leg at Celtic Park is on Tuesday the 13th of August. In between, the Hoops face a trip to Fir Park to take on Motherwell in their second league game of the season.
It will be a hectic schedule for the Hoops in the next few weeks. However, the Hoops should have a big enough squad to cope with that.
Team selection will be scrutinised

What will no doubt come under scrutiny will be Neil Lennon’s team selection for the game against Motherwell. He will be tempted to rest a few players for that game ahead of the second leg.
The Champions League clashes are far more important than the league games. However, in recent years resting players for league games at the start of the season has backfired for the Hoops.
Therefore, Neil Lennon will have a tough job on his hands in selecting the correct team selection for the three games.
August is always a massive month for Celtic and this year is no different. Their Champions League destiny will hopefully still be alive come the end of the month.
