Former Celtic target Dylan Reid is set to switch St. Mirren for Crystal Palace, if reports are to be believed.
Celtic were interested in the 17-year-old midfielder during the summer, and made a bid of £125,000 in early July.
Ange Postecoglou was even asked about the player after our pre-season friendly against Rapid Vienna and suggested the move was close.

At the time, Postecoglou said: “I think that’s more for our B team and academy. I’d love to be the man for everything, but I have my limitations in terms of what I’m focused on at the moment.” (Scottish Sun)
But the move didn’t happen, with Reid staying at St. Mirren where he has played just 25 minutes of Premiership football this season.
The whole summer situation turned into a bit of a saga, with Celtic bidding twice and unable to get a deal done each time.
Now it seems like it is all about to come to a close with Reid moving to England.
He was left out of the Saints matchday squad for last night’s game at Celtic Park, and is now expected to complete a move to Crystal Palace.
The Scottish Sun say he is in talks with the Premier League side, with a fee believed to have been agreed.

The news is hardly likely to be crushing news to Postecoglou or the Celtic support, with Reid seen as a development signing.
With all of our options in the middle of the park right now, it’s hardly an easy area to break in to.
In other news, Scott Robertson could be about to join up with Scott Brown at Fleetwood Town
