Celtic have had to send out a warning to the travelling Hoops support who are heading to the Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb tomorrow night.

Brendan Rodgers knows that a win in Croatia will guarantee a play-off place and put Celtic firmly into contention for an automatic last-16 slot after recording a draw against Club Brugge at Celtic Park two weeks ago.

However, it seems that the club have had to issue a statement to the travelling Celtic support as it seems many have been ‘targeted’ on their way to support their heroes in matchday six of the Champions League.

Celtic offer support to fans ‘targeted’ travelling to Dinamo Zagreb

In a statement on Celtic’s official website, the club says:

Instructions for Celtic fans heading to Dinamo Zagreb’s stadium for Champions League clash

To keep fans safe, Celtic have offered the latest instructions to the travelling support who have tickets for the game against Dinamo Zagreb.

The meeting point for fans will be at the Bulldog Pub at Frane Patrice. [Google Maps].

In addition to that Celtic has also advised the travelling support that all flags and banners will be inspected on arrival and that flags bearing CSC’s or players’ nationalities will be allowed.

Anyone without a ticket will not be allowed entry into the stadium and fans will be held back after the game for around 30 minutes.

Clearly, there do seem to be issues in Zagreb and it goes without saying that 67 Hail Hail wishes all the travelling support a safe journey and that they get to enjoy the game with the safety of the stadium.
