Celtic have been handed several positive injury boosts today if you go by the club’s Twitter.
The Hoops have had a much-maligned list of the crocked and bruised in recent weeks. The likes of Filip Benkovic, Anthony Ralston, and Tom Rogic are just three of many who remain sidelined.
But Hoops fans were in for a treat as Kieran Tierney, Olivier Ntcham, and Dedryck Boyata were all snapped back in training earlier on today on Twitter. Celtic’s official Twitter account put up the post as they prepared for their match against Hibernian on Wednesday night.
Massively important after Saints win
It’s highly unlikely any of the trio are fit for Wednesday. Despite that, however, supporters will be delighted just to see them back in training.
What makes this even more timely, however, is the injuries occurred in the St Johnstone win. Mikael Lustig, James Forrest, and Odsonne Edouard all had to come off injured. Kristoffer Ajer picked up a red card ruling him out for Wednesday, but that’s not as important given he’ll be back soon.

MORE CELTIC STORIES
At the very least, it’s a symbol that Celtic’s walking wounded are on the mend. The Hoops have had to field the likes of Emilio Izaguirre and Jozo Simunovic in the absence of the likes of Tierney and Boyata. The sooner the pair are back, the stronger Celtic’s defence will look.
Added to that, the addition of Ntcham could be timely if Ryan Christie has also suffered a knock. The midfielder could hardly breathe after the St Johnstone match according to Rodgers. This happened after being kicked in the ribs by Saints’ Jason Kerr.
All will be revealed on Wednesday regarding who’s in and who’s out. Nothing has subsequently been confirmed by anyone at Celtic regarding availability. It appears to be a waiting game for the supporters regarding the likes of Boyata and Ntcham.
If today was one of their first days back at training, however, it’s difficult to see them being rushed in for the Hibs match.
