Josip Juranovic is the beaming owner of a World Cup bronze medal after his Croatia side beat Morocco in the third-placed playoff earlier today.
Juranovic played in every match for his country prior to today, which he missed because of a calf injury. However, he did support his teammates in the dressing room and on the sidelines.
After the match, he proudly took to Instagram to show off the medal he received, alongside Tottenham Hotspur star Ivan Perisic.

Juranovic was one of the most talked about players at the tournament, especially after a superb performance against Brazil at the quarter-final stage, shutting down attackers such as Vinicius Jr amongst others.
He fully deserves to bring a medal home, which will hopefully help with the disappointment of losing out to Argentina in the semi-final.
The Croatian is expected to now get a week’s break from Celtic duty after a tiring physical and emotional month in Qatar, which will also help his calf injury heal.
It could be a big couple of months for the right-back with so much chatter regarding his future and a transfer exit from Celtic.
Manager Ange Postecoglou is not concerned by that situation at all, going by Friday’s media conference, nor should he be.
Celtic hold Juranovic’s contract until 2026, meaning the Bhoys are in a strong negotiating position with any party. Nonetheless, it could be a beneficial time for the club to sell a key asset at his peak value, especially with Alistair Johnston already in the door.
Regardless, congratulations have to go to Josip for a superb showing with Croatia and for representing Celtic so well at a world-class tournament!
In other news, Celtic attacker picks up injury but return timeline is good news.
