Celtic’s previous results against the five teams they will play in the SPFL post-split fixtures

Celtic have learned where and when they will play the five Scottish Premiership games following confirmation of the post-split fixtures.

The Hoops will play Hearts on the final day in what could be a winner takes all clash for the title on 16 May.

While Celtic may hold the cards in the title race by knowing they need to win every game, they will have to hope to not produce similar results to the ones they did during the regular season. With that, here is how the Bhoys fared in all of their fixtures against the five clubs they will take on.

Celtic vs Falkirk

Previous results

Celtic dominated all three meetings without conceding a single goal, including a 4–0 thumping in October that marked Martin O’Neill’s first win back at the club.

Celtic vs Hibernian

Previous results

Easter Road is never an easy place to go for the Hoops but it is the only time that Celtic have beaten Hibs in the league this season. That was under O’Neill and there will be hope he can match the result of his first away game in charge.

Celtic vs Rangers

Previous results

Celtic have yet to beat their rivals in the league this season, picking up two draws away from home but losing 1–3 at Celtic Park in early January. They can take solace from the fact that they have beaten Rangers in both cup games, which will breed some confidence.

Celtic vs Motherwell

Previous results

While Celtic won both home fixtures, they suffered a shock 2–0 defeat at Fir Park in late December, ending a 35-game winless run for the Steelmen in this fixture.

Celtic have struggled significantly against the league leaders this season and are yet to beat them in any of the three meetings. Saving that victory for the last day could be the difference between being crowned champions.
