Celtic’s win over Dundee will not win the award for the Bhoys’ best performance of the season.
However, it may just prove to be their biggest three points of the season as they extend their gap to 10 over Rangers.
It seems like Celtic fans are saying it every week, but these three points feel more important than any other.
With Rangers drawing again on Saturday, it looked like Celtic had missed another chance to extend their lead in the league.

However, with the game entering the 96th minute, Celtic’s record signing Odsonne Edouard provided another late winner for the team.
Repeating his heroics at Hearts last month, Edouard side footed home the deciding goal.
This Celtic side will not be denied it seems. Now they can sense the title is in their grasp.
Even if it wasn’t their best performance, Celtic found a way, like they’ve done since the restart.

It’s Celtic’s third injury time winner since the restart after the winter break. Scott Brown’s goal against Kilmarnock has sparked a habit in this Celtic side.
Edouard has provided the finish for the other two, however it’s much more of a symbol of the whole team’s character going into the latter stages of games.
Another missed opportunity to extend their lead over Rangers would have been criminal for Neil Lennon and Celtic.
They needed a winner against Dundee more than they ever needed a goal this season. And after one magical exchange between Edouard and Forrest, they got their reward.
It my not have been their reward for their display at Dens Park. It was far from Celtic’s best performance.

A reward for their character
Their former manager Brendan Rodgers used to drone on about Celtic’s character.
However, even in his absence, they’re still proving him right.
This side has taken a few body blows this season already. They’ve already lost as many league games as they had in the previous two seasons.
However, they are getting it right again, and even if playing poorly, still look like they can win games late on.
They’re looking like champions more and more every week.
