Celtic loanee Timothy Weah features in a list of the top 20 teenagers in world football.
The list published by football site Goal put the American at number 17 ahead of huge young talents such as Benoit Badiashile.
Despite, the 19-year-old’s appearance, he has very few starts with the Hoops which is a surprise.
Are The Bhoys missing their chance with their temporary wonderkid?
Timothy Weah highly thought of in world football
His father may have went all the way to seal a Ballon d’Or but he’ll be happy to see his son going all the way.

The on-loan PSG forward is at Celtic until the end of the season and has three goals to his name.
Nevertheless, Goal have decided to put him as number 17 out of 50 youths with the best talent.
He comes ahead of players who have already went elsewhere for millions of pounds.
Probably the most recognisable name behind Weah is Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe who ignored Barcelona interests.

However, if Weah’s Celtic career doesn’t get any better he may fall down that list next year.
Other players are keeping Weah from starting
One reason that the American international isn’t featuring is partly due to the bloated squad.
The Hoops have an abundance of forwards and wingers and Weah is having to bide his time.
On the wing, James Forrest and Scott Sinclair have secured that spot and with one striker spot, replacing Odsonne Edouard or Oliver Burke will be hard.

Perhaps an extended deal for next season won’t present itself meaning a return to the PSG bench.
It’s a shame as he started his Celtic career so well as a super-sub but isn’t having an affect at the moment.
However, there a couple of big games to go to get his name up in lights which can change everything.
It’s up to Weah now to realise his chance.
