Reo Hatate’s late penalty rescued a point for Celtic at Ibrox as the Hoops fought back from 2-0 down in the controversial Glasgow Derby.

VAR intervened to award Celtic a penalty after Dujon Sterling prevented a goal-scoring opportunity from Daizen Maeda’s close-range header.

And during the celebrations, Julian Araujo joined the Hoops supporters tucked away in the corner as Celtic’s Unique Angle captured the scenes inside Ibrox.

Take a look at this:

As every Celtic player made their way back to the centre-circle, Araujo joined the Celtic support to celebrate the goal.

And as the on-loan defender made his way back to his own half, the Celtic full-back gave a cheeky thumbs up to the raging Rangers crowd.

The Mexican defender was caught up in scenes at full time as tempers flared, but it’s clear that Araujo is loving being a Celt this season.

Did Celtic fans spot Sebastian Tounekti’s class reaction at Kieran Tierney’s goal?

Araujo wasn’t the only Celtic player we spotted having an influence on the game from the footage. Sebastian Tounekti also had a wee hand in the fight back.

If Celtic fans watch the footage again, they will see the Tunisian instructing his teammates to focus and keep their heads as Tounekti showed his determination to get something from the game at 2-1 down.

Tounekti made a material difference to the outcome of the game after his introduction to Ibrox as a half time substitution.

The winger is not only starting to influence results on the pitch with his trickery, Tounekti has now shown great leadership skills from this snippet and that is exactly what Celtic need right now.
