Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has declared Odsonne Edouard the best forward at Celtic Park since ‘The King’ Henrik Larsson, responding to a UEFA teaser on social media this afternoon.
The official Europa League account invited supporters to answer who Edouard is the best Hoops striker since, alongside footage of his superb goal in Copenhagen last Thursday.
Sutton left no-one in any doubt with a simple response, suggesting he rates Edouard as a better player than Moussa Dembele amongst others.

Celtic fans of course affectionately referred to the Swedish legend as ‘The King of Kings’ during his time Glasgow.
Larsson was also a former strike partner of Sutton, so the outspoken pundit knows what he’s talking about.
Edouard has scored 60 goals in 122 matches for Celtic to date (FitbaStats), wowing fans with his skill on the ball and composure in big moments.
The Frenchman is in delicious form right now too, scoring nine goals in his last nine matches and striking up an attacking relationship with Leigh Griffiths.
His goal in Denmark last week was the first Celtic away goal in the knockout stages of a European competition since Larsson netted against Boavista in 2003 on our way to the UEFA Cup final.
If we’re to progress to the last 16 of the competition at Copenhagen’s expense this evening then no doubt Edouard will play a massive role again.
Celtic have had some excellent strikers down the years since Larsson’s departure.
Scott McDonald scored well domestically and in Europe while Gary Hooper was a real favourite during Neil Lennon’s first spell as manager.
In recent years it was Dembele who captured the imagination of supporters.
Sutton though clearly thinks Edouard is ranked above them all.
Will the 22-year-old live up to the hype and prove that assertion right tonight?
