Celtic legend Chris Sutton didn’t hold back following Celtic’s memorable 2-1 Europa League win over Lazio. He used one-word to describe the win on Twitter – ‘brilliant’.
He also praised Celtic’s match-winners Christopher Jullien and Fraser Forster.
“Brilliant”

“What a comeback in Paradise…what a night… Celtic do a job on the Italians. Christopher Jullien. Fraser Forster. Brilliant” he said.
You can’t really Sutton for being so enthusiastic about the Celtic victory. At one stage it looked very unlikely, after the Hoops fell a goal behind in the first-half, thanks to a Manuel Lazzari goal.
The Hoops struggled to make any real impact in the game until Neil Lennon changed to three at the back. Celtic then equalised when Odsonne Edouard’s pass set up Ryan Christie to finish with a deft shot.
The Hoops then won the game late on thanks to Christopher Jullien’s free header. Celtic still had to rely on a Fraser Forster in injury time to secure the three points.
Last 32 is in Hoops’ sights

The win gives the Hoops a real chance of making it into the last 32 of the Europa League. Neil Lennon’s side stay top of Group E, with seven points, and a draw in Rome could see the Hoops all but qualify for the next stage of the competition.
For now though, Neil Lennon and his players deserve to bask in the glory of what was a memorable night in Europe for the Hoops.
