Chris Sutton reminds Michael Beale who the top dog in Scotland is after 'one-sided' comment
Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has reminded Rangers coach Michael Beale who the best team in Scotland is after the Ibrox man described this season’s League Cup Final as one of the most one-sided in history.
Beale was speaking to outlet Goal about his time in Glasgow and working under Steven Gerrard, saying: “We are in a two club battle domestically, let’s be honest.
“We played very well in a cup final against Celtic and it was the most one-sided final maybe in history that a team loses.
“We are moving forward; we have young players people respect, we have built respect in Europe.”
Never shy in winding our rival up, however, Sutton took to Twitter on Sunday evening with a one-sided comment of his own, responding: “The last two seasons have been one of the most one-sided ‘maybe in history’…”

It comes after Sutton similarly mocked an interview given by Rangers captain James Tavernier last week, in which he claimed that Gerrard’s squad have a winning mentality, despite not winning a single trophy.
Thankfully pundits like the former Hoops man are there to remind everyone just how much nonsense comes out of our rivals camp at times.
Apparently the suspension of matches and turned them back into world-beaters again.
