Former Celtic manager, Ange Postecoglou, has come under more pressure after Spurs’ latest defeat in the English Premier League.

Postecoglou has come under pressure to change the attacking style that made him a hero at Celtic after Tottenham suffered a 6-3 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

The Australian seems to be under pressure at Spurs despite being just five points off the European places, on the cusp of Europa League qualification and being in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup after beating Manchester United 4-3 midweek.

Speaking about Postecoglou’s troubles at Tottenham, Chris Sutton had to shut down Robbie Savage after he made a claim about the Spurs boss’ time at Celtic.

Chris Sutton labels Robbie Savage ‘arrogant’ after Ange Postecoglou Celtic claim

Speaking about Ange’s attacking style of football Sutton said on BBC 606 [6m], “What do you think, Spurs fans?

“It is entertaining, but the bottom half of the table at this moment in time, the Carabao Cup semi-final, but up against Liverpool. I’m going to get a ticket for that.”

Savage: “You can get away with it when you’re managing Celtic in the Scottish Premier League.”

Sutton: “Don’t start all that nonsense.”

Savage: “You can. You can.”

Sutton: “You don’t know what you’re talking about. Have a little bit of respect. This is a guy who’s won things in Scotland, in Japan, in Australia.

“Don’t be arrogant. Somebody who’s buying their results at Macclesfield week in and week out.

“Come on. You’re better than that, Rob.”
