Christopher Jullien has offered a Friday verdict on Celtic’s 2-0 Europa League win over Cluj – calling Celtic Park “unbelievable”.
The Frenchman was imperious on the European stage again as he helped his side to a ninth win in 11 matches. The Hoops defence hasn’t shipped more than one goal in a single match in that time while the attack have helped to net 26.
And the summer signing, who himself is 26-years-old, is clearly loving being part of what is growing at the club.
Jullien is part of a Celtic defence that is growing
Jullien and Ajer are starting to show signs that they could form a formidable partnership at the heart of the Celtic defence. The pair have both had their issues so far this season but their performance against Cluj just showed what they could be.
The whole Celtic defence has been changed around constantly, sometimes through necessity, at the start of the season but now we are starting to see a settled line-up.

There is no doubting that, at the moment, the defence which started Thursday’s game is our first choice. The likes of Greg Taylor and Moritz Bauer may fancy working their way into the team but for now they will have to bide their time.
Given that four members of that back five weren’t at the club three months ago it really is a miracle that they have blended together so quickly. Hopefully they can continue to grow and keep clean sheets both domestically and in Europe.
