I don’t know about you, but the thought of getting to watch Celtic in the flesh again and experience a real matchday has been one of the happy thoughts keeping me going throughout the last year.

It’s been a dire 12 months for all sorts of reasons and the sooner we can safely congregate again the better.

For many nothing quite beats the unique feeling of being in a crowded pub before or after a Celtic match talking about the Hoops.

To that end, a new pub is on the verge of opening in Bellshill and a video of the set-up has been doing the rounds on social media.

Featuring music from Kevin Miles, booths with individual TVs, a stage for live music, obligatory signed tops from legends and a smashing European Cup display, it really does make you dream of getting out and about again.

A new dawn beckons for Celtic in Europe, as Joe Hart shows his class once again

It even got the thumbs up from Celtic icon Chris Sutton, who clearly fancies getting in for a bit of patter.

Fans are loving the video and the tweet, counting down the days to socialising and watching the Bhoys.

For now, we’ll have to make do with viewing the action from home.

Celtic kick-off their defence of the Scottish Cup tonight against Falkirk, with the match broadcast live from Celtic Park on Premier Sports.

As a new era dawns, potentially with Eddie Howe at the helm, it’s time to get excited about the Hoops once again.

In other news, James Forrest is set for his first start in over six months tonight.
