The big Glasgow Derby game is a matter of mere hours away as Celtic prepare to go head-to-head with Rangers for the third time this season.
Celtic beat Rangers in the League Cup final the last time the two teams met as the Hampden penalty shootout provided one of the most tense games between them in recent years.
Brendan Rodgers also oversaw another Glasgow Derby win earlier this season when Celtic hammered Rangers at Parkhead in the league at Celtic Park.
With Celtic holding complete dominance over the Ibrox club in the fixture, Kenny Miller has shared what he says is ‘completely unacceptable’ as the big kick-off nears.
Celtic’s league advantage over Rangers is painful for Kenny Miller
Speaking to Gabby Agbonlahor ahead of the big match, the talkSPORT presenter told Miller that Rangers should be trying to salvage some pride against Celtic this afternoon.
And that is something that Miller completely agreed with.
Miller told talkSPORT, “You’re bang on Gabby. That’s exactly what it is. You’re 14 points behind in the league just past Christmas.
“There is a potential to go 17 points behind, that in itself is unacceptable. Being 14 points behind at this stage is completely unacceptable.
“To fall 17 points behind after losing to St Mirren and dropping points to Motherwell and then another potential, particularly being at home, another Old F-rm defeat, I just think I don’t see any way back after that.”
Kenny Miller is not worried about Celtic when he looks at Rangers’ league position
Miller continued his rant and said that even if Rangers avoid defeat against Celtic today, at this stage of the season being so far behind will still be ‘completely unacceptable’.
“Even if they draw,” Miller continued, “It might salvage a bit of pride and stave off a few of the boos and maybe the demands to remove him from his position, but still 14 points behind? It’s not good enough.

“We’re at a stage at this point of the season, you’re not talking about league titles, you’re looking behind you rather than what’s ahead of you.”
Brendan Rodgers’ record as Celtic boss against Rangers is one of the best in the club’s history. All the odds are suggesting that another win is on the cards for the Parkhead club.
A 17-point gap with half the season still to play will be music to the Celtic fans’ ears as it will pile on even more misery for Philippe Clement and the Rangers support.
With the League Cup already in the bag, the title looking like it is almost over and the Scottish Cup still to play for, the reality of Celtic winning another treble is on the cards as Brendan Rodgers continues his relentless domestic assault on the Scottish competition.
